Why we do this one crazy thing... on purpose!

One of the questions I get asked the most by family and friends is why I choose to have Flight Fillows manufactured in the United States verses over seas when that could cut my productions down significantly.

On paper and financial statements, that’s a great question and probably something I should do if we were only talking numbers.

But this is something I do very intentionally and here is why:

Being a small business owner myself, I have learned how meaningful it is when people choose to do business with you. It isn’t an easy journey and supporting another person’s dream and small business with mine bring me more joy than higher profit margins ever would.

I never intended to invent a product or start my own business. This was an opportunity that I seized and I’m beyond grateful. I will always pay this forward by supporting other small businesses near home.

Plus, I don’t think a large manufacturing company over seas would send me jokes in the shipments (see below)!
